In the site of the ancient Pannonian Sea, where the soil is rich in minerals, fruit of remarkable fullness has grown for centuries. From this abundance, a tradition of crafting fruit brandies emerged and has been passed down from generation to generation. It is more than a craft, more than a custom – it is the Trace of an Era.

130 years of tradition

have been distilled into the modern Podrum Palić 1896 distillery.

The combination of heritage, experience, craftsmanship, and modern technology is the heart of our production – a place where every spirit is made with one goal: consistent quality and a recognizable character.


From the first fruit to the last drop in the bottle, every step at Podrum Palić 1896 bears the signature of knowledge, precision, and dedication.

 

The modern complex integrates all production phases – from fruit processing and distillation to maturation and bottling.

Completely reconstructed in 2019,

the distillery now provides full quality control and conditions that meet the highest contemporary production standards. Spatially and technologically, it is designed to ensure continuity and efficiency in work.

Storage capacity includes approximately 700,000 liters in stainless steel vessels and 70,000 liters in wooden barrels, with the possibility of further expansion.

Production is carried out on two Cadalpe distillation units, which ensure precise process control and consistent distillate quality.

Special emphasis is placed on production cleanliness, energy efficiency, and ideal microclimatic conditions in the maturation rooms.

Behind every distillate stands a dedicated team – master distiller, technologist, orchard specialists, and cellar workers – carefully overseeing each step, from fruit selection to final bottling.

This approach ensures full traceability and stable quality of all products intended for both domestic and international markets.

The commitment to superior quality

was quickly recognized at the highest level: just four years after the renewal of production,

the Podrum Palić 1869 distillery was awarded the title of the world’s best fruit spirit producer at the prestigious International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) in London, in 2023.
